Water levels on the Deerfield River in Charlemont vary daily.

The water level is controlled by the Fife Brook Dam in Florida, Mass.

To find out the best water level at an appropiate time to plan your tubing trip  click on the link below.  It is important to remember that you must add 2 hours to the release time to make sure the water is at the best location spot for you to enter the water.

example:  From 11:00 AM today until 4 PM today, 900CFS

would suggest that you should plan on getting in the water about 1 PM and that the water will begin to become too shallow for tubing after 5 PM

Hyytinen Hollow suggests you enter the water at the Zoar Picnic Area Bridge and exit either at Hyytinen Hollow or at the Shunpike Rest Area on the Mohawk Trail.
